Competition is high for sales leads nowadays, especially with the integration of ecommerce advertising, which has quickly made other marketing types obsolete. But telemarketing is making a comeback, and the best way to take advantage of that sudden shift in market is by using marketing leads to further your sales.
This means buying something specifically targeted, rather than waiting to come across a lucky number being offered from the printed out list given by your employer. You can buy sweepstakes leads, or other lists, online without too much effort on your part. Just do a search for what you are looking for, find a website offering them, and take purchase. It’s all pretty simple, even if you aren’t great with searching the web.
But there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, you don’t want a recycled list of sweepstakes leads. This will do nothing but cause trouble for you, because they resell these to more than one person, something hundreds. That means that you won’t do anything but make the other person on the end of the line angry.
What you want are hardcopy lists that have been hand written to offer you unique numbers, all of them within your chosen industry. For example, if you sell magazine or other publications, you want magazine leads, not insurance leads.
Using marketing data will allow you to become a better seller, and increase your commissions drastically. All it takes is a small investment. But remember, you still have to be a good salesman. The list won’t sell for you.
